There will be a point where the infections will start to plateau. The right time to buy will be just before that.

Tools for withdrawals

Hello
Are their any tools that help with efficient withdrawals of tax deferred and taxable accounts together with social security or do you have to see an advisor? Alternatively where can you learn the principles?

Re: Should I use a lawyer

The latest is that the drunk driver did have insurance so I called them today and believe it or not she had not reported the accident!! Anyway, I have now filed a claim with them and they promised to let me know tomorrow if I can have a rental. Tomorrow I have to find out what’s going on with my car...

Re: Should I use a lawyer

Thanks for all the advice. At the moment we are trying to see if the drunk driver has insurance. In the hullabaloo of the moment we didn’t get it and neither could the police since it’s not in the police report. Statefarm is investigating.

Should I use a lawyer

Last Week I was out of town with my son and I got hit by a drunken driver. She drove through a red light. Both my son and I are fine since I managed to brake but it looks like my car could be totaled. My wife had to come and get me as my car is not drive able. On reaching home my friend told me to g...

Re: Thinking of moving to Texas, Iowa, Idaho, or North Carolina

Several of my wife's siblings and her parents moved to NC from NJ primarily to avoid cold winters. In Laws lived in Southern Pines, not a lot of businesses there, mostly retail and golf-centric. My brother in law lived in Greensboro area and recently retired from being a school teacher. He relocate...

Re: Trade in advice [Car]

What caused anxiety and stress? You're getting a new car. Isn't that supposed to be good? Trade in your old car with the dealer or carmax will guarantee that you'll leave a lot of money on the table. Unless money is not an issue for you, slow down, take a breath, and do it one step at a time. It’s ...

Trade in advice [Car]

Going to buy a new car. My old car is a Tucson 2010. It has a number of scratches and I really have not maintained it very well. I am very stressed about buying another car anyway and this is just another part of the whole issue. I would actually feel a little guilty to sell it to anyone but also wa...

Last year at the age of 56, after analyzing the error of my ways in having purchased an annuity of similar form to yours, I realized it was a blunder and that at my age it would be wiser to pull the funds out and roll them into my Vanguard IRA with my Bogleheads investing style. I would encourage y...

Invest or pay off some of mortgage

I have just sold my rental and will end up with about 40k profit. Should I invest or use it to pay off a part of my mortgage. Nobody has mentioned Toyota. What about a RAV 4?
I am actually about to buy a car and I am looking at either a RAV4 or a Camry. I really like the 2018 Camry and prices seem to be discounted nicely although I swore I would never buy a new car again.

Re: Selling a rental property

To the OP: the callousness of the way you ask random internet strangers if you should "kick the renters out" and "push the price up" confirms the stereotype a certain generation holds about landlords. I'm not judging you -- just want to reflect back to you your choice of language here and how it ma...
