Incomplete Form 8606

Filed 8606 with Form 1040. Did a backdoor Roth conversion for 2018 in Feb. of 2019. Pro rata not involved. I only completed lines 1-3 of Form 8606. I did not complete Part 2 showing taxable amount should be zero. How do I go about correcting this?

Is it possible to receive the policy of the new insurance before it goes into effect so it can be compared to the existing policy? Just because the limits of coverage are the same doesn't necessarily mean the policies are the same.

Capital gains distributions are taxed in the year received weather reinvested or taken in cash . If reinvested, they increase the cost basis of the fund thereby lowering the capital gain or increasing the capital loss from the sale of the fund.

Dishwasher Supply Hose Replacement

Has anyone replaced their dishwasher supply hose or discharge hose as a preventive maintenance item? My original hoses are 10 tears old. Water pressure is not very high about 55psi so I'm thinking maybe not necessary.

Check smoke detectors and CO detectors on a regular basis. Know how to mitigate an emergency situation. Shut off valves for water, gas, oil. Electrical service panel-breakers, fuses.

NYS pensions and military pensions as well as social security benefits are not taxed by NYS.
Also the first $20,000 distributed from each spouse's IRA is not taxed by NYS.

Isn't the 1.8% net of expenses meaning that is the actual yield you would get?
For example, if I have $1000 in a MM yielding 1.8%, I would collect $18 in interest at the end of 1 year. Am I right in my thinking?
