Sellers clearly need to sell since they are buying a new house, so you have some leverage. You clearly want the house since you spent $2k before closing I would propose asking seller, and the 2 agents to each put in $1k. That would give you $3k, and then go ahead and close. I also work at a megacorp. In cases like yours they allow the employee to buy the missing time with portions of the severance in order to meet the rule of 73

You give up some of the severance but get the retirement benefits

Another happy Costco tire customer. I also like that they keep the records of when you bought them and did rotations. The last couple of times I’ve gotten Michelin tires there and don’t get the mileage that are covered in the warranty. No problem getting credits back

I have a Yakima which I really like but it is a 1 bike model

However, I would make sure to get the tray kind of rack where the bike wheels sit in a tray, and there is usually a hook that goes over the front wheel. They’re easy to get the bike on and off the rack and very secure

Not sure why you would be worried about showing your face. It’s common to give 2 weeks notice, and the right thing to do to give your manager time to arrange for a replacement and do any knowledge transfer.

Look at the doors in the house. Are there doors that don’t latch? Look closely at the gaps around the doors. They should be even all the way around the door. If the gaps around the doors aren’t even then the house is likely settling

I’m not crazy about cash as a wedding present, especially for a couple who appears to be well off. They’re going to spend your $100 and forget about it. As others have said, something that they might use and enjoy seems better.
