I'm going to hang on to my memory of the 2000's in which for a large part was carried by internationals, developed markets.
And the US was not headed in that direction. It's part of a balanced portfolio of broad diversification :sharebeer , and has been, and well be. End of discussion.

I think it varies from person to person. Working hard and saving money makes the person. It's hard to stop habits that are now just standard for your living, whatever that might be. I used their paints for my entire home and the second best is better than the other best. Great paint. Very happy with their products. Prep work is also critical to a great paint job. Bad prep can make any paint look bad.

My thoughts are that I'm glad I found Paul's weekly Internet show in the early 90's and changed the way I think about investing. 8% average over the last 20 years. Didn't win any gold metals, but it worked, and for that I will forever be grateful.

Perhaps deflation is really the bad thing we don't want. Long periods were prices keep slipping, edging, backwards, rather than increasing as historical it has in our society. No problem there, at least for the moment. Investing is a balancing act like none other. For the record I'm 10% TIPs.

Regardless of whether or not your dog runs free, you are responsible for your animals, animal. Many cities have ordinances against dogs running free. For good reason, as dogs are pack animals by nature.

I don't see why you would hire an inspector when you already know whats wrong. Like others have said, write up a punch list and the conversation with the builder should be about what they are going to do to get these items resolved and when. Get timelines in writing and if they don't follow through...

I love my new GMC Sierra SLT 4x4 with 6 foot bed. Get better gas mileage than did my 15 4Runner. And at 6'4", I appreciate the room in the large 4 door cab.
