My Must Do for Kauai is to mount a dash cam on the car windshield to continuously record everything the car sees. A few years ago, I drove a rental car, and found extended sections of road there that were one lane with no passing zones that extended for miles. At one point, I was in a 50 MPH limit r...

Looks like $2.49 is the new low price for H&R B 2017 (without state). The link below says Newegg offers it for $17.49, and includes a $15 Newegg gift card, so the net price is $2.49. Wish I waited!

I use FreeFileSync for all my file backups, and I highly recommend it. It is easy to set up a sync profile so you get what you want backed up to where you want it.

I also do a full system backup of my computer and of my data once a month.

What's in store for silver and gold in 2018?

My guess is that the seasonals and the Silver Side Step (alternate year bull cycles like in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009-2011) will return after being suppressed for 7 years. That implies a strong rise into March or early April with silver climbing to $21-22. Then silver could drop back to appro...

We use similar cooler bags when shopping. We buy everything else before we go to the freezer aisle, and then we put the frozen items into the bags in the shopping cart. I just keep mine locked in the safe. I figure I get a couple extra minutes of quality sleep each night knowing they are there. I agree with not selling, especially at the current low prices. Diversifying some assets away from paper and into physical things you can hold and store securely has value.
