The Sinner, on Netflix. Pretty intriguing stuff starring Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman. Instead of a whodunit it's a whydtheydoit. Looking forward to Season 2.

Re: High End Wrist Watches (Gone Crazy)

It always fascinates me that so many people feel the need to barf on any thread that talks about high end watches. "I use my phone" "I don't wear a watch" "A $10 Timex tells time better" Yeah, we get it. It fascinates me that people post on a retirement/living frugal/investing forum about expensive...

For my main TV on the first floor I plan to purchase a SONOS Beam, a sound bar that was just released on July 17. Initially I will not be adding a bass speaker (I think they are called subwoofers) but I will add a SONOS wireless sub if the sound is too thin. Many of the reviews of the SONOS Beam co...

I've done free trial periods of HuluTV, YouTubeTV, DirecTV, and Playstation Vue. They're all pretty solid services with different interfaces and quirks. For me, Playstation Vue felt the most comfortable and also offered the most channels that I was looking for.

Agree. See the $20k travel thread as well. Some OP’s ask for this kind of judgemental feedback but most don’t. My advice is always the same “dont give any advice other than if you can afford it and you value it, buy it”. If someone paid $20,000 for a one-night stay at a Motel 6, they absolutely wou...

I'm getting impatient as that is the only piece missing in my taxes and I'd like ...

I'm not aware of any such rules; however, more generally there are often asset seizures of large sums of cash.
