So the stock dropped today 3.5% and the S&P only dropped 1.5%...Should I sale and just hold in cash until next year? Or just weather the up and downs?

You can sell XYZ, but you can't buy ABC. ABC is a brokerage, such as Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, Merrill, etc.
Perfect! That’s what I thought :)

They used the example of Charles Schwab total market mutual fund in the taxable account that had huge capital gains and recommended using a ETF to avoid the taxes. But it is different than Vanguard because of this patent. Makes me so happy I found Vanguard when I did and wish I would have sooner :)

Silly Question? I am not so worried and the number of “2050” versus “2045” for a target date fund but when comparing them- 2030 is 33.00$, 2045 is 22.37$ and 2050 is 36.00$ Why is 2045 almost 10$ lesss than the other two? Does is matter? I’m setting up a new Roth :)

Look into the actual cost. The fundamental ETF’s are more expensive usually 0.4. You can also tinker by changing your risk profile. We started with this and decided to move this account to Vanguard. It was expensive to sale the many ETF’s that the product uses.
