I'm in the same situation they just told me the web site is crashed by too many users and I should try again in 24-48 hours.

I probably don't want to know, but when you used the above form, did you have to answer the infamous security questions after you clicked "Submit", or is filing out that form all you had to do? (If so ... yikes. I was feeling a bit better that if a bad guy used the insecure phone method to freeze m...

When you did it by phone, how are they getting the PIN to you? Mailing it to the address they have in their records? Computer voice reciting it to you over the phone? If you are successful the phone recording says they will mail you the pin but I was able to get my pin online a couple of days later...

Welcome! Did you check your credit-card account online? Usually, charges that take a day or 2 will show up online immediately as a "pending transaction". Thanks, Yes I checked my card online. I had two failed attempts freezing Experian online and like others I was charged the $10 anyways right away...

I succeeded freezing Experian through the automated telephone process yesterday, but no $10 charge showed up on my credit card yet. To anyone who did the phone freeze were you charged right away?
