Re: HEDGEFUNDIE's excellent adventure Part II: The next journey

I’m 46 This is 100% in my 401(K) with continued bimonthly contribution— probably will change to just once a month. Plan on doing this for 5 more years then will stop and monitor. Have other buckets to withdraw from so not worried. Hoping to have a sizable amount of money by end of year and will put ...

If you can stomach the volatility then yes TQQQ/TMF can be used.

So should the allocation change to something more aggressive ?

An 80/20 ratio ? 90/10 ?

Re: HEDGEFUNDIE's excellent adventure Part II: The next journey

I am strictly just quarterly rebalancing. Rebalance on first day of quarter as that’s the easiest.

Sector rotation may happen and I welcome it. Tech can’t be the only sector going up all the time. Let everything catch up and then let’s all move in tandem.

Thx

Currently at 70/30 TQQQ/TMF

May move to 80/20 but most likely will wait till election is done.

Good investing

I have a buddy who is an interventional nephrologist. Quite busy in the clinic and doing procedures. He has a 1M trading account outside his IRA's. Re: HEDGEFUNDIE's excellent adventure Part II: The next journey

Okay...here's something and I am sure i will get backlash but welcome it. Why not go 100% TQQQ or 100% UPRO or 50/50 ?? I have a large rental portfolio that keeps spilling out monthly income; in fact even with COVID crisis my monthly payments haven't skipped a beat. Why not keep this as my "bond" po...

Re: HEDGEFUNDIE's excellent adventure Part II: The next journey

Question for the board. With Powell coming out last week and stating that yields will be at 0% thru at least 2022, would it be more beneficial to adjust our allocation ? HF has the allocation now at 55/45 -- but would it be better going forward to change to 60/40 or even 70/30 ? thoughts ?? thanks VJ

I have a 4% match though right now due to COVID its been suspended.
The returns i have on this so far and anticipate going forward, I dont mind paying the $50 each transaction.
Also, its all the tax deferred space I have so really dont have a choice.

Re: HEDGEFUNDIE's excellent adventure Part II: The next journey

Jeremy Siegel comes out and says that the 40 year bond bull market is basically done and the low rates we saw in March are the bottom.
Of course nobody knows for sure. But, in order to improve our returns going forward would one consider changing allocation ?
60/40 or 65/35 ?

Thanks
