I have the paid version for my large collection, but for many users the free version is fine. Nice thing is if you like it and feel you need the paid features, its a easy upgrade, reasonable too.

No one will buy/want a 10-15 yo laptop. I tried to dump several of various makes/models/configs in the Chicago area, even tried the Linux method and it was a waste of time to try and sell. Remove had drives and destroy them and take the laptops to the recycling center.

Even the junk guys in our neighborhood, nw burbs of Chicago, wont take them! As suggested look for recycling sites in your area. Our city and county have recycling centers available.

I haven't purchased Money in years as my library has had the digital version available for a number of years. I always pick up a hint or reminder about various things so in that sense it still has value. They also have the digital version of Kiplingers which I also read.

If only spending 2 nights in London I suggest that you maximize your time and find accommodations near the main tourist sites and easy access to transport. Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square comes to mind as they are walkable to many sites as has access to several tube lines and bus routes.
