Re: Moving 200 miles to storage unit. How to verify all is moved / no damage?

Hey,

No stranger to moving with various new jobs across the country- the method that is most used with corporate relo is one with numbered stickers for each box, item etc. - once the shipment is received, you check the numbers off to ensure that all has arrived.

Hope that helps.

Hey OP, You're doing just fine....I'm 32 and find myself asking the same question...you're always going to find yourself ahead of some and behind others. Keep plugging away and focus on what you can control. Its a marathon, not a sprint. If you're dead set on a measuring stick- this is the one I use...

Agree with previous poster- best scenario would've been to align start date after her release date. The notification letter can likely be voided if she leaves early- and thus the company wouldn't owe her anything. I would attempt to push the start date out for the new company- or approach the curren...

Sorry you're dealing with all of this. I'm in HR- and consult quite a bit on compensation related issues...Unfortunately, its quite rare to receive an out-of-cycle pay bump....if they occur they are occurring as a result of some stimuli; i.e changes in market data, the risk of losing a top performer, or leverage. If you don't ask...you'r...

Hey,

My personal preference is to just dump it in...studies show that lump sum is a bit better than dollar cost averaging, but whatever makes your more comfortable.

Also, from a tax efficiency standpoint, you may want to put the bonds in a tax deferred account (401k, etc)..
