Re: Do I need to pay for a clean title to sell my car privately?

Sorry that my original post isn't so complete. But thanks for all the replies! The title they (toyota financial) mailed me has my name up top as "the owner" On the bottom right under "lien released by" it's got a stamp and original signature by some person there at toyota financial. Re: Do I need to pay for a clean title to sell my car privately?

I just looked in the envelope that Toyota mailed me. It contains: 1. A letter, like a cover letter. It says thanks for making your last payment to us, etc I guess someone could forge this if they had lots of time 2. The title - which they mail you after you make all payments. 3. A photocopy of a doc...

Do I need to pay for a clean title to sell my car privately?

I'm in NJ. I want to sell my car. I have a car where the loan was paid off years ago. I have the title that Toyota Financial mailed me. An accompanying letter says the loan is all paid off. The letter suggests I get myself a clean title so that the title no longer "reflects the lien." I never got th...

New windows, Anderson 400 series vs. Simonton ProFinish

We need 7 new windows to replace very old ones. I guess this is considered "new constuction" as some wood needs to be replaced too. It seems lots of pros here only put in Anderson windows. We got quotes on both and Simonton are less expensive. Does anyone have any experience in this area? Should we ...
