I don't know if anyone mentioned it above but I got a letter from VG this week saying that they're increasing the international allocation in stocks and bonds in their TR funds. They say this is wise and research supports it.

I've use malwarebytes free for years on my PC's. I finally bought the pro version (for 3 users). It seems to protect you in real time. I guess it's nice to be protected in real time, as opposed to removing junk that you've already got on your machine.

I got the Rav4 over the CRV because 6 years ago the CRV had more road noise. Maybe Honda has since solved that? Also the Rav4 used to get the #1 rating from C. Reports for years in it's category - but now they've dropped it down some. I forget why.

You might also look at the Subaru Outback and the Rav4. I find an SUV more fun to drive. I've got the Rav4 V6 and it's very peppy and fun to drive compared to a sedan.

I can't for the life of me see what's wrong with windows 8 or 8.1. It's a fine OS. You give people 1 more click and they scream bloody murder. But the fact that their ancient XP PC takes 12 minutes to boot up - that's just fine.

I guess he doesn't think of himself as a market timer. He has 3 kids in college and wants to travel to Europe and wants to retire early. So I guess he feels he needs to accumulate wealth faster to reach his goals. He thought bonds would under-perform. Any thoughts?

Generally speaking are the Total Stock Market Index Fund and Total International Stock Market Index Fund just about as tax efficient at the tax managed funds?
