get into profession that is in demand
learn about money & investing
save like crazy
spend wisely
avoid lending money
do not accumulate material junk
have clear definitions of wealth and of money

Has anyone experienced similar problems? When I first joined Ally I used to have problems accessing the account. The problem eventually went away. What is your experience with transaction over phone? I never used this feature. Did such experience make you have a second thought about an online bankin...

Buying a residential property to rent out is a business. We are aware that most new businesses fail but some do succeed. Do proper research and give it a shot if you think that the odds favor you.
I once bought and rented a condominium and it was a painful experience.

I commend you for acknowledging that luck plays a part on our lives.
I made maximum annual contributions to a 457(b), Traditional IRA, and Roth IRA. It worked out well.
Like you, I tried to predict the future, but I found it to be futile.
