I had no trouble whatsoever applying for their card. I am low income, partially retired and self employed when I work. My credit score should be perfect and I have absolutely no debt. I applied over the phone and computer and got the card almost immediately.

We found 10 nice large Yellow Morels under a big old sycamore tree yesterday. We have been finding them under that tree every year. Ate them already. Searched another little woods that usually produces some but it may be too early.

Been hunting them here in Ohio. Can find a bunch in our back yard usually. Some years baskets full, other years very few. Sycamore trees are good around here also with dying elms. Haven't found any so far this year but still early.

Those of us who produce the goods and services this country needs and who transport them to where they are needed are going to have to raise their prices to survive high fuel costs. I drive a thousand miles a week and believe me I raised my prices and didn't have a problem doing it.

I have had 80 percent of my IRA in Fidelity Gnma since 2000 when the Dow was 11000 plus. Only 10 percent in stock index funds and another 10 per cent in short term bonds and cash.
