I've mentioned this before - This is a periodic reminder to wear eye protection.

Yesterday, I took a shot to my eye. My sunglasses prevented injury. It wasn't hard enough to scratch the lens, but would have been much worse without glasses.

I normally wear prescription lenses, so I always have some form of eye protection when I play.

I just filed my federal and state taxes and wanted to add reminders for my estimated taxes. This is the first time I'm doing this, so I had nothing in Quicken before. I never realized that Quicken understands the quarterly tax payment dates.

In "Bill and Income Reminders, add a manual bill.

To the right of the "Due next on:" field is "change". Select "change" --> "How often:". The very last entry at the bottom of the drop-down list is "to pay estimated taxes".

The quarterly payment dates will be entered for you.

A great heron flew overhead and nested in trees near my property. In PA, the Great Blue Heron is the common species, but I couldn't get close enough to make a positive ID.

First time here. I'm committed to the 3 fund strategy and believe in the idea of winning through discipline- 'don't do something, just stand there!'. I have an old Dell Optiplex 3080 Micro desktop that I never opened and am in the process of setting up for home office use. I need to get Microsoft Office, and I know that I can either purchase a one-time license for Office or go with the more expensive licensing fee option for Office 365. Moderators or site admins may lock a topic (set it so no more replies may be added) when a violation of posting policy has occurred. Occasionally, even if there are no overt violations of posting policy, a topic (or thread) will reach a point where the information content of the discussion has been essentially exhausted and further replies are much more likely to cause distress to the community than add anything of value.
