If I apply at age 64 and a half do I get half a year added or is the benefit simply 64 or 65 when I get there?

I need to set up a place for relatives and friends to pool money for a relative with cancer who is on medicaid.

Take a look at Navarre Beach if you are interested in Pan handle. Quiet and unspoiled but amenities like a large fishing pier. Condos available on VRBO as well as some beach front houses. Short drive to Pensacola Beach. No large traffic jams at dinnertime like Destin.

Thanks for the responses. It is feasible that my move maybe to convert a portion of my 401k to Roth 401k (IRR) prior to 65 while I am still an inactive employee.
So next question. If at age 65 retirement I rollover the 401k to an IRA does the portion that is a Roth 401k roll to a Roth IRA?

Does your 401k plan support an In-plan Roth Rollover (IRR)? Having the option of a Roth 401k is a requirement of an IRR, but no indication that one is actually supported. One other important issue is that a Roth 401k still has RMDs. You will have to start taking them for the year you turn 70 1/2. A...
