I also have a Makita battery-power which we love and do not know how we lived without it. Since you just put the batteries in and go we use the blower so much more then the corded blower we had. It is loud on the high setting so I wear ear protection and the batteries do not last long on that settin...

Have you checked the AC power? I once had issues with my WiFi router in my home office about 3 days a week. I placed the router on a UPS with power conditioning and the problems went away.
