If I see a wreck on Carfax, I move on. Its real, you will lose alot of potential buyers for your vehicle and when you do get somebody they will lowball you no matter how minor it was. I'd fight to get anything extra.

Flown them several times, never had an issue. I was aware of the maintenance issues but they passed an FAA audit recently and that eased my fears. Upgrading those old aircraft should be a major help.

If you have good tenants then you're good (assuming you dont mind being bothered every now and then). If you are comfortable can you co-apply for the loan? That way both of your incomes can be used. Unfortunately, like a co-signed car loan, you are on the hook if something changes.

I'm shocked at the amount of people who responded who don't budget. YNAB user here, we track every penny. Our net worth has increased substantially since we actually paid attention to what we spend our money on and got serious about budgeting.

We made the move to get 40-50% raise but only have 2 weeks off per year now. It sucks, but for us the move was required to get us to a level we needed to be at to save sufficiently.
