I tried that and read some articles, some of which were from microsoft, but I didn't see the max min function that libralibra shared. I used it today and it did exactly what I needed it to. I personally would take the lump sum. I also would take the $35K now, there is no guarantee for tomorrow. You will not get any additional money for waiting another 6 years. ($177*72 = 12744 + 35000 = ~48K)

The $275 payment for 10 years is even worse = $275*120 = $33,000

I withdrew 99% of my funds into my brick and mortar bank yesterday by online transfer. I signed up for the promo this morning and then redeposited the funds back from the brick and mortar.

It might work, it might not. I'm not going to sweat it if it does not.

I don't see a historical balance for existing customer in the fine print. If I have a lot of money in there currently, what is to stop me from pulling it out and then redepositing?

Any way they can back out of your pension payment in the future? For that reason alone, I might lean towards taking my lump sum and I can control what happens, not relying on MegaCorp.

I bought a Yi Cloud Home Camera, 1080p recently off Amazon. It was cheap and had decent reviews. Well, I can't get it set up and they told me I need to do some kind of manual firmware update involving a mini sd card. No thanks, avoid the headache.
