Congratulations! My wife and I are Indian. We convinced her parents to have a very intimate wedding ceremony in our local NY hindu temple with only our immediate family (11 members in total). We had the same problem as yours. We now use a Lightning to HDMI adapter and it works with iphones, ipads. No issues so far. I think you can use a USB-C to HDMI adaptor for other non Apple phones as well.

Wife's and my combined portfolio was 100% equity until two months ago. We rebalanced to 90 equity 10 TBM and are content with it. 31 years old.
