Thanks for all the info guys. I went with Tunnel Bear as it is stable easy to use and was cheap. Got it on a discount or 60 bucks for a year. So that is like 5 dollars a month. Works for me.

She is starting as soon as she can but needs to complete work at her current job.

My wife would take full maternity leave which is 12 weeks and then return to work full time. She did that with our 2 year old.

They didnt ask about her pregnancy but it will show in a few weeks.

New York and Westchester County. The town we are looking at just moved to a 100% value tax system so from my limited understanding (first time home buyer) they will reassess the home at time of sale for taxes.

Thank you all for your advice and inputs. It is greatly appreciated. The home inspection is on Monday so lets see how it goes.

The oil tank is a concern for us and if it doesn't pass the tightness test and the soil sample test then we won't be moving ahead with the sale.

Government stability with a growing economy and tightening money supply and higher wages = increase in inflation?

Oh that makes sense. So the formula to calculate the property tax on a 500,000 home in say Eastchester would be: (500,000/1000)*35.099500 - the rate per $1000 correct? Dm200 oh wow. Thank you for mentioning that. I did not know that. That changes the whole dynamic abput buying in westchester county.

Nyc10036 i am aware of that and sometimes homes are not assessed for years. I was just looking at how to calculate the taxes on an assessed home of certain value.
