...It's sort of gently applying your brakes as you get closer to your final destination, possibly making it take a little longer to get there... I agree. I like the way you said that. But there's little doubt it would get you to your destination faster than a fixed allocation of 50/50, for example.

I like this idea, I had been on a slow mechanical glide path that was not really tied to anything but age. This drives you to use a target $ amount instead.
