I am intrigued by US mobile. I like that they have 24-7 customer service via chat or phone. Seems like we can save a few bucks and still keep "verizon" service. They are sending me a free starter kit.

I see a red pocket plan for unlimited talk and text for 17$ that looks like a decent deal. Do I have to buy for one year at a time on eBay. I want to just set it and forget it on auto pay like my boom mobile and my index funds.

Thanks all coffee the replies. I read a little more and it seems like I am guaranteed one percent discount and if that doesn't happen I get reimbursed the difference. I got a recent check for 27$. Something about this doesn't seem right to me. Need to research more.

Thx sawdust for the links. That one price chart was frightening. For me it does look I've been getting charged more bit not painfully so. How would you recommend I switch back to the local supplier? I don't have the time or energy no pun intended to be consistently comparing.

P and C Actuary I looked up Woodloch Lodge and it looks amazing....Little pricey compared to great wolf lodge 257$ per person but it does include meals so maybe thats not a bad deal. Looks fun and maybe worth it!

Thanks for all the replies! I think my enemy here is complexity and my friend is simplicity so I am going to just leave it in the bond fund and check on it in 30 years. That was my original goal and I want this as boring/sleepy as possible with no tinkering allowed.
