He does have some great BBQ and has been doing pop up stores and festivals for years now and has been quite successful - always sells out after a few hours. Judgement on opening a ...

W-2 "Administrative Correction" Box 12

Hello Bogleheads, Megacorp messed up.I received a corrected W-2 for the year 2014. Box 12 codes AA -" Designated Roth contributions under a section 401k plan" and D - "Contributions to the employer provided retirement plan" both have corrections. Re: Gift bag recommendation $5 to $15

Not sure of the age group or situation but I know a few parents who spent the money they would have bought buying the teacher something they may or may not have needed, and bought all of the children in the class a book. I thought that was a nice gesture.

Re: Gonna Do this! Portfolio plan and checkup please!

Do you want to be paying your mortgage for the first 18 years of retirement? Dependkng on how you feel about debt you could put that $100k towards your current mortgage and try to have it paid off prior to retirement. At 3.65% it would be better than the 3.01% CD. That is what I am struggling with....

I second the vote on the Trader Joes Black Diamond. They make a roasted garlic and onion jam that is a nice addition to a cheese plate too!

Gonna Do this! Portfolio plan and checkup please!

First I want to say Thank You all for your wisdom. I found Bogleheads 3 years ago after losing my parents and deciding to take over managing the finances. We were all with the same advisor. My parents taught me some good basic lessons on saving and investing but I would like to get some opinions on ...
