We use the Fidelity AZ plan for our 529 needs.
If you are an AZ resident you can utilize up to a $4,000 state tax deduction.
It is a cheap option for age-based index funds.

My 457 plan is at ICMA also. I love it. Vanguard fund options with dirt cheap ERs.
I wouldn't use them for an IRA though. Vanguard is the place for me.

We did a no cash refi last month with Sebonic (Cardinal Financial). We were told it was going to be $575 for the appraisal. We paid it. The next day we received a refund. They notified us we qualified for some sort of government program (not HARP) where no appraisal was necessary.

We are going to refinance our home. We are 7.5 years into a 30 year mortgage at 4.75% Home valuations in our area have improved enough where refinancing is now a viable option. I backed out of the garage in my Silverado and ruined the driver side mirror. $40 on Ebay. I swapped it out in 10 minutes. Good as new.

Careful with the recommendations of doing the tile work yourself. You don't place tile on plywood. Plywood expands and contracts too much for tile to be placed directly on top of it. Unless you want cracked grout lines and possible cracked tile. You would need a cement backer board over the plywood....

Maybe if you drive really slow...I routinely make the drive. I have made it in as little as 1 hour 15 minutes, but most of the time it takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes.

Currently 9% of Fidelity portfolio in FSRVX, the REIT index fund. Then naturally I screwed up in spring 2014 when I considered adding more to FSRVX, but did not since it had already jumped. Target allocation for REIT Index is 10% of equities. Current allocation is about 12% of equities due to performance. This does not include REIT portions in TSM and SCV.

I've had the AmEx card now for several years. It work great. I also have the Fidelity Visa, which pays back 1.5%. Both are serviced by FIA card services. The thought of a new CC account, password and username to store in my iPhone, etc usually deters me from applying for a new card but I think this...

The AMEX card certainly isn't accepted everywhere, but there is a similar Fidelity Investment Rewards Visa card that has 1.5% cash back as well.
