Re: Car question - please help!

Fill it up once engine has cooled. The standard 50-50 mix. I would also check the ground to see if there is a coolant leak after the car has been driven again. A lot of white smoke in your tailpipe and continued loss of coolant without leak = head gasket. (Mods can move this topic to the correct loc...

Re: New Roof - Covered by Insurance?

I would start with a roof quote and have the roofer verify if there is any wind or hail damage from a storm event. Don't pay to have a quote though. Then determine if you want to contact your insurance agent, not first. The roofer will be able to tell you if it has damage and if if significant enoug...

Re: Hiring an Interior Decorator

Do not give out your CC information. That is not how the service works.

They should purchase and then request payment from you separately.

Re: Mid-Century Sofa - Quality of Online Brands / Midrange Chains

Similar look. Half price. Macy's Nari Sofa. I bought an orange one. Not the highest end quality but for the price you can get two! It works similar to other couches. https://www.macys.com/shop/product/nari-89-fabric-tufted-estate-sofa-created-for-macys?ID=4521579&pla_country=US&CAGPSPN=pla&CATARGETI...

Re: Where to stay in Naples, Italy and along Amalfi coast

Capri (2 nights) -Definitely get a private boat tour around the island- Giannisboat.com -I stayed at Hotel Canasta -Beware taxi will not take you all the way to your hotel since the...

Call through Wifi for free. Google Voice # and Hangouts dialer app. You may as well have a free video call the same way. Another option is to call through Facebook messenger if the person on the other end has an account.

Architects can be found on the AIA NC or SC websites. This contactor is local to you and seems to have done large homes and a LEED home. http://www.arrowoodconstruction.com/page21/services.html Consider sustainably in your renovation to help with the resale value and marketability. Re: Chimney Help, Please

I would get the mortar fixed in your situation and keep the same open fireplace for wood burning occasionally. Invest elsewhere. Install a SS liner if you are installing a fireplace insert. The SS liners are $600-$800 for the kit (insulated to meet UL rating) so when the install costs $4k they are m...
