I don't take much time off and cash out about 150ish hours per year. Part of that goes into 401K/457B, the rest goes into post-tax investment account.

Compete with my 8-year daughter at board/card games.

And compete against myself on everything. Saving money, making more money, getting to my destination before the GPS estimate, etc.

I prefer used cars with scratches and dings. I don't feel bad when I add my own.

Also, more practically, both insurance and licensing costs are lower in my state for an older car.

201 houses in our community. No rules on number of rentals. Back when we bought in 2013, there were >50% rentals due to investors buying after the crash in 2008ish. It is a miserable, thankless job, but I always stay involved because I don't trust other people, haha. Have been on HOA boards for 10+ years now.

We have insurance coverage for board members, I wouldn't do it otherwise.

I do all but the paper copy storage. Most of my bills are not even in paper format and I pay them online, so paper never existed...
I just print out the payment receipt and store that.

Seems insanely high compared to our current house in AZ that is <$500 per year. But, location matters.

When we lived in a condo, we didn't need a full HO policy, it was more of a renter's policy (liability and contents) due to walls being common areas.

I have no clue. When I lived in Seattle, it seemed every 3rd car was a Subaru. Everyone said they liked the all-wheel drive. Of course, for the 2-3 times it snows per year in Seattle, that was great. Pull a piece of current trim, take it to the paint/home improvement store and they will match. The technology is pretty much spot-on these days. They matched wall paint at Home Depot after we had a plumbing leak, can't even tell.

If you earned the money, reported to IRS or not, you need to claim it. Otherwise it is fraud.
