Re: Feedback on Kai-Zen premium finance life insurance plan

Thanks guys. This is a great analysis. That's why members come to the forum to get a transparent and honest opinion. Out of all feedback which I agree for the most part, one thing to keep in mind that, I dont think the premium of insurance will increase in 50s. They will tell all of the cost upfront.

Hi andy2012, you seem really interested in these type of products based on your past posts. In your prior threads no one has recommended them to you. Did you think that somehow this time it would be different? This product was bit different and cheaper so I thought maybe someone might have done it ...

Feedback on Kai-Zen premium finance life insurance plan

I came across this plan which is a Universal Life Index premium financing plan. Here is the website: http://www.kaizenplan.com/what-is-kai-zen/ In nutshell, you take a 1m-2mm policy. You pay some premium for 5-7 years and Kaizen finance more than half of the premium as well. They invest in S&P and o...

Re: Conservation Easement Deductions

I have a conservation easement on some of my property. All I would say is that you better make sure you never want to use the land again as they can't be recinded. I don't want to rescind, so that's not a problem but it's a topic I follow from time to time. I'm curious how an agreement made in perp...

Conservation Easement Deductions

Anyone has feedback on "Conservation Easement Deductions"? How does this thing work and how much deductions can be claimed? My CPA is suggesting that if we invest some money in the conservation easement, you can deduct 4.5 times of contribution.

Any input would be helpful.

Curious to learn about your insurance policy? What kind of policy is that? I am also exploring options for those. You will find that most here would not recommend cash value policies such as Whole Life or Universal Life. These policies are loaded with fees and expenses. The insurance salesperson re...

Whew. I'm new here, but have been very impressed by the depth, breadth, and quality of the discussions I've read so far. I'm a 49 year old male trying to recover from a divorce I really didn't want (or see coming). That's been quite difficult in its own right, but of course also not the point here....

Andy, the first line of defense for asset protection is an adequate umbrella insurance policy. Check your state law for asset protection provided by annuities. An umbrella + term insurance + cheap variable annuities may suit your need much more effectively and far cheaper than this very expensive "...

Thats great. Could you please expand on that? Sure, the basic product that you describe is a three-legged trade. We can break down what each leg does. 1. A zero coupon bond, purchased at a discount from face value. 2. Buy an at the money call option. 3. Sell an out of the money call option. Let's s...

You can bet the agent would be tickled pink to get that commission! Does someone depend on you for support for life? Re: Premium Financed Indexed Life Insurance Policies

My dad was dazzled by a sales guy a while back so I did a lot of research on them for him. The basic idea is that you get a whole life policy with a very large payout and a very short payment term, usually a 7 pay which is the minimum number of years. The premium in these instances can be close to ...

Re: Premium Financed Indexed Life Insurance Policies

Yeah, I have heard of these policies. But question #1: Do you have any need for 10 million dollars of life insurance? Or are you just being dazzled by a slick insurance salesman? Dale I am looking for asset protection. My net Value has reached around 5-10mil. Any feedback on these kinds of policies?

S&P and other index investment options with Floor and Ceilings

Some of the Indexed Universal Life Insurance policies offer investment where Floor is 0% and Ceiling is capped to 10%. They do invest into various indexes such as S&P and others.

Just wondering if those kind of options are also available without insurance policies.

Thanks
