Very confusing. Here is the official language for the past:
The company contribution is 20% of each eligible employee's own deferral, up to the first 5% of your compensation.

401(k) Match Calculation

The company I work for has in the past matched 401(k) contributions. Here is the match verbiage: 20% of the employees own deferral up to 5%.
I am trying to contribute just enough to max out the company match. For easy figuring, if I made $100k, what should my my 401(k) percentage be?

The trust document states eveything clearly and the account is titles in the name of the trust. We should be good to go moving forward. You never know these days :happy

I have the option to sell (diversify) some of shares of company stock of the company I work for. I have paid zero dollars for theses shares. I realize that I can transfer to my traditional IRA but what about a transfer to a Roth IRA? No way to escape the tax man is there? I assume income limitations...

I will be receiving in August some money that I chose to diversify out of my company ESOP. @ $200K.
I am rolling it into an IRA so no tax consequences at this time. I am 58 years old and have concerns of market valuations at this time. I feel like I should DCA this money into the market. Opinions?
