High Yield Online Account

I've seen this question asked before, but some of the old top picks really dropped like a rock. I closed my Ally account after it dropped under 2.00%. However, I opened up a BMO Harris and they are limited permanently to $5k/day in transfers which is very limiting, it looked like redneck bank and so...

Thanks for advice. I hadn’t thought about them Being credits instead of deductions. Obviously credits are 4x+ better, but converting makes no sense. So that just leaves enjoy no taxes for a year (can they do that more often?, lol) And prepare for a call from the IRS. As far as large credit I avoided...

The costs will go down when I get them in the right plan. We are too small for Fidelity, but Vanguard offers a plan at our participant size and asset size for a flat rate. This is a 2 part problem. Even for a smaller company this 401k is terrible, the company wants to do the right thing and just has had no expertise, and a slick local financial rep that sold them on a plan. I have presented much better options to the board and trustee, but they move slowly and that’s ...

Re: How to take advantage of unexpected 0%/Negative Federal space in a strange year of large credits

Seems super silly but I saw some complaints on it. The Solar PV is calculated first, then the Plugin EV credit (which can’t be carried over). This effectively blocks you from carrying over the Solar credit as it’s results feed into the Vehicle credit form.
