Exchange question exchanged 10k from one fund to another but after I made the trade the market dropped causing my account to be worth 9k what happens to that exchange? These are both Vanguard funds. Will the exchange still take place?

I have 5 credit unions and 1 bank. Only one of them is not in use for something. I don't think it is a big deal as long as their are no fees.

I keep a cell phone in my winter jacket. I charge it up and it will last all winter. I use tello for a one time $10. You have to make one call every six months to keep it active. I understand Graham. Look at a chart of 100% stocks vs 50/50 the 50/50 person earned about 82% of the gains if you start in the 1920's to present. I think his point is you don't have to go to great risk to get most of the gains in the market.

I am an advocate of never closing any credit card as long as it has no annual fee- unless you have a spending problem. I say again, most people need only pay 100% of last years Total Tax. I've been doing for many years, If you pay that amount can you pay it all at once in the forth quarter. No, it must be paid equally over four quarters. Gill I guess if you wanted to you could pay 100% in the first quarter.

Well I did everything you guys told me. I am just stumped how they got it with two factor on. I got a notice from gmail that someone was trying to get into my account in Jan. so I turn on two factor. Then in May the new phone number was added. I did see one other device that was on now I only see one.

You could ask for an early inheritance (house and money) and let your father live in the home free. Limiting the gold digger gold. I think that is your key. You could protect most of it not all. If mom and dad would go alone with it. Just do it now before more people get involved.

If you could live off your taxable account is it wise to put all your work money in a 401k?

I could live off my taxable account and put all my work income in the 401k I make about 22k a year. Would this idea work and would it be wise? The have a regular 401k I don't know if they have a roth 401k. I am in the 12% bracket and middle age.
