Re: Refinance Mega Thread

Just locked with LC refinance at 2.5%; Loan Amount 260K; Lender Rebate leaves total cost @ $489. To Presto987:Your input was very helpful. Much appreciated. Be very careful with them. I am 90 days in and still in underwriting. I would use their rate to lock in with someone else. 90 days? So you're ...

Re: Refinance Mega Thread

One good thing about LC is that they offer a float down. I’m guessing with the moves in interest rates, some people who are locked with them might be eligible to float down before closing... if you ever progress to that point! I checked pricing today on LC’s site, and for my parameters it showed 2....

Check w/Lenderfi, Loan Cabin (they may be slow to respond), Costco, Loan Depot. I just did cash out 30 year at 2.5% with about ~1000 in closing costs. I was willing to do it once rates got down low enough. I just did 100k cash-out 30 year refi at basically no-cost to 2.5%. We also itemize and are able to write off mortgage interest so our effective rate is even lower (maybe <2%?). We also don't anticipate tapping into the cash until retirement whi...
