Great suggestion and reminder. I was once notified of a 20 minute change, which would have tightened up my connection significantly. So they did agree to rebook my flights, same day, but at a more convenient time than I originally had.

they will never stop calling you. Change your number or screen your calls. When we have notified the collection agency that the person is not at this address, or number, the calls did stop. Then, a year later, another agency called, they said they just got that account. Then the calls stopped again...

Have you tried phoning IRS? They gave a number to call on the CP-2000. Other posters have reported pretty good success that way.

The extra cost of Plan F is worth it to DW so that she gets no bills at all . I understand the economics. I am a total fool about my wife, so we just pay it. I personally have Plan N. Different medical situations.

Different ways to look at it. If I save a buck at the store by buying a less expensive item, I have a buck more. If I earn a buck more, I have 70 cents more than before. That is to say, pretax dollars are not the same as after tax dollars.

I fly into Logan occasionally. There is a shuttle bus between terminals but I don't remember details. Logan has a web site, believe it's called massport. Maybe a native will chime in here too. Depending on airline(s) you might not need to recheck luggage outbound. Please check with the airline.

Really enjoyed my job at megacorp. At age 64, they did a RIF and I was made an offer I couldn't refuse. FI, so no regrets. Did a little consulting for a couple of years, but was ready to call it a "day."

Account numbers and passwords are coded (DW and I know the code) and are in paper in my files. Nothing like that on my phone. I only do finances from my desktop at home. I do keep credit card info (again, coded) with me when travelling so I can cancel cards if need be.
