I would want to be there when the first paint goes on the wall to verify the color, not wait till the whole house is done.

I'm not a pro, but I always do the ceiling first, then the trim and walls. No way for the paint going on the ceiling to spatter onto the walls.

I use autoslash.com to research prices. l almost always get Avis, Hertz, or National. Usually I'll check the company's own sites, but they are always more expensive. I'm a member of loyalty programs for all three. So I just go to the aisle for the class I reserved and pick a car, then just go.

One more vote for a CCRC, provided you are in good enough health to be able to qualify for the lifecare option (sometimes an option, sometimes it is just part of the deal). That's our plan. BTW, we just today signed on for a CCRC.
