Re: The Three-Fund Portfolio

Assuming that half my assets are IRA and the other half are non-IRA, that I go for the three fund strategy holding all three in equal amounts, further assuming I'm in the 33% tax bracket, how should I divide them between IRA and non-IRA to obtain the most tax-efficient strategy?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Tax efficiency of ETF's v. Index Funds

Thank you for your answers. Aside from the general answers provided in the wiki, is there any website where I can see the difference between a Vanguard ETF versus a Fidelity ETF and a Fidelity ETF versus a Fidelity mutual fund in terms of their tax efficiency and costs. Is there anyway one can quant...

Tax efficiency of ETF's v. Index Funds

Hi, I'm new to the site. I am planning on redeploying my portfolio (retirement and non-retirement) using passive investing techniques. I am constructing a lazy portfolio based on the information I read here. My question is whether an ETF is more tax efficient than its mutual fund equivalent when dep...
