I’m confused. Should I buy short term or intermediate term treasuries? My portfolio is 65% stocks 25% bonds 10% cash/I bonds. My bonds are 80% total bond market and 20% short term corporate. Thanks.

Are we talking PVC pipe? If so you need shovel, Probably 1inch pvc, a connector or two, hacksaw or pipecutter, pvc glue and primer. Shouldn’t cost more than $20-30. It's really not too hard once you do it a few times

You can put away a higher percentage of your 1099 income in I401k than with a SEP-IRA. The max you can put in is the same but it takes more 1099 income to max SEP-IRA.

Check out Woot.com. Basically Amazon clearance website. I’ve purchased Samsung TV, chromebooks, IPhones on the cheap. No problems yet. You do have to be patient and check website frequently cause deals change daily. Also has free shipping for Amazon prime members

Take a look at I-bonds. You can buy $10,000 per year ($20,000) if married. Also, you can start a side hustle or do some consulting and open a solo 401k or SEP-IRA

I got the same email message this morning. I called and rep answered immediately. He said it was an error on their part and not to worry about it. We exchanged pleasantries. I hung up and went about my day. Not a big deal to me.

I know it’s irrational but I like dividends. Yes, I understand that total return is what matters and that I can make my own dividends. But yet, I still like to look at my account and see the deposited dividends.

FYI: I would not use Frontline for dogs on cats. It’s my understanding that the doses are different. Anecdotally, in a small town ER I once took care of a nurses cat in status epilepticus (continuous seizures) that occurred when frontline for dogs was used instead of cat formulation

I agree with Roth IRA for earned income. When my son turned 18 we tried to open a Roth IRA at Vanguard without success. It may be state specific but Vanguard would not allow my 18 year old son to open a Roth IRA. I had no issues opening one at Fidelity. YMMV.

I would definitely paint them before considering cutting access through a wall. Who knows what you may find or how much it would cost to do that. I recently remodeled our bathroom and we painted the fixtures and sconces. This was cost effective and they looked like new fixtures. Good luck!
