I know it’s irrational but I like dividends. Yes, I understand that total return is what matters and that I can make my own dividends. But yet, I still like to look at my account and see the deposited dividends.

FYI: I would not use Frontline for dogs on cats. It’s my understanding that the doses are different. Anecdotally, in a small town ER I once took care of a nurses cat in status epilepticus (continuous seizures) that occurred when frontline for dogs was used instead of cat formulation

I agree with Roth IRA for earned income. When my son turned 18 we tried to open a Roth IRA at Vanguard without success. It may be state specific but Vanguard would not allow my 18 year old son to open a Roth IRA. I had no issues opening one at Fidelity. YMMV.

I would definitely paint them before considering cutting access through a wall. Who knows what you may find or how much it would cost to do that. I recently remodeled our bathroom and we painted the fixtures and sconces. This was cost effective and they looked like new fixtures. Good luck!

Just go with the cheap Frigidaire or Whirlpool for ~ $250-300, but make absolutely sure it has the old school heating element. I've found that high priced dishwashers are no better than the cheap ones. my 2 cents.

I'm actually amazed with this thread! Winning an ATV would make my day. I have an ATV and UTV that are used heavily around the house and in the woods. Seriously though it should be very easy to sell and you can pocket the money. Here in Alabama there is no titling or registration required.

Debit card should be fine, but Clark Howard calls them fake credit cards. Apparently they don't enjoy the same consumer protections as a credit card. With that being said I've never had any issues using a debit card.

I tend to agree with several of the posters recommending taking the 1.6 million and move to a LCOL area. Move to Florida and semi-retire. Anyway that's something to think about.

TDK Life on record Trek max A34 wireless weatherproof speaker is awesome! I purchased two a couple years ago on Amazon for $129 and they are still going strong. My wife can attest to speaker volume as she is frequently yelling at our son to turn it down. LOL. :sharebeer

If somebody hits me with high beams and doesn't dim them appropriately, I usually do nothing. But sometimes if it's very egregious, I will light up the sky with the LED LightBar on my 4x4 Chevy Silverado! That makes me feel much better. LOL.
