Re: [SEP IRA or Individual 401k?]

I’m a physician and for my circumstance the SEP-IRA is the option I chose. It is easy to setup. You can use admiral funds which are unavailable in solo 401k. There is no extra reporting requirement when your account exceeds 250k. I contribute $18k to gov 457b. My employer contributes $52k per year t...

Re: 18 year old wanting to establish investment accounts, yeah!!

I agree with Roth IRA for earned income. When my son turned 18 we tried to open a Roth IRA at Vanguard without success. I’m not 100% sure why Vanguard wouldn’t open the account but I suspect it may be our state of residence (Alabama) age of adulthood. But we had no problem opening a Roth IRA at Fide...

I respectfully disagree. Just because something increases the risk of accident does not oblige you to avoid that activity. You should carefully consider your options and make an informed decision.

Re: Liability of phone conversations while my client is driving (and I am not in the car)?

I may be in the minority on this issue on this forum but I think a responsible adult should be able to make the decision when/where/how to make a phone call. I understand that talking on the phone while driving increases the risk of accident. But I have the capacity to make educated decisions. For a...

I would definitely paint them before considering cutting access through a wall. Who knows what you may find or how much it would cost to do that. I recently remodeled our bathroom and we painted the fixtures and sconces. This was cost effective and they looked like new fixtures. Good luck!

Just go with the cheap Frigidaire or Whirlpool for ~ $250-300, but make absolutely sure it has the old school heating element. I've found that high priced dishwashers are no better than the cheap ones. my 2 cents.
