If your car is stolen you'll wish you had comprehensive and with a $1k deductible it is very cheap. +1 I don't carry collision on my old 2003 Toyota, though I do carry liability AND Comp. Again, specified lots can not be the default method. That is why it's not available in the PDF. You can call Schwab to confirm, but I think changing your default to Tax Lot Optimizer (or anything else actually - it just can't be average cost) on the pdf will then let you see Specified Lot as an opt...

some will go through semi-legal processes to "wash" the title by shady sellers. Thats the fear.....of getting a car with a washed title. yea, am familiar w/ auto auctions and salvage titles, not all salvage cars are bad, but a flood vehicle rots & corrodes from the inside out as I've read. There are things you can do to protect yourself. Remember that there are going to be cars that did not carry insurance beyond liability, so those don't show flood or any other red flag.
