We were just in the same boat. I know I’m probably repeating what the others say, but get a credit card and use it very sparingly. We use the card only for gas.
We are building a new home, and when they checked our credit it was 700+ vs the 640-660 that credit karma listed.

Same as above. Dell XPS 13. As a techie guy I try out a lot of laptops, tablets, etc. I got an XPS 13 a couple years ago and will keep it until it's death. And after that I'll buy whatever the equivalent is. Rock solid, fast, great keyboard, great size, great screen. The best of everything.

34, managed IT sales. I don't really know what is considered a high earner, but i'm projecting 130k this year. 109-123k over the past 3 years. Before that I was an IT tech making about a third of what I do now. In a LCOL area still living like I am on the tech salary.

Thanks! You just saved me from creating a new post. In a similar situation w/the same current insurer. Our ages are slightly different, but in the same predicament w/insurers available in FL and increasing $$. It's either BCBS or Cigna for us.

Popped a compressor on my old Civic a couple years older than your CRV. Chances are it's your compressor.

Sorry, I always think of 401k as the term, but yes it is a SIMPLE IRA.
