I still can not find a site that is selling right now. All the amazon products are not available for sale at this time. If anyone can post a link where it is for sale that will be helpful

Re: Advice for Asian Indian friend on parking 100k

That 6.5 % interest rate is for NRE/NRI accounts that take Indian currency. For USD deposits, it is called FCNR account and the interest rates are 2%-3%. FCNR will be good for short term (1-3 years). If the money is not needed for a really long term, total stock market will be better option

Re: How to approach getting new wills, trusts, with a blended family

lets say you have 12 M combined. Wife's 6 M split 2 ways for 3M each. Your 6M split 4 ways for 1.5M each. so 2 end up with 4.5M and the other 2 end up for 1.5M.

why are you a non-resident alien ? do you have substantial presence in US ? if you have substantial presence you are a resident alien. otherwise just wait for 6 months and become a resident alien.

Re: Rules of Thumb: Max House Value as % of Net Worth?

House value as % of net worth is not a good measure because most people don't want to constantly change/upgrade homes as the net worth increases. So we start with a higher (often negative) % and eventually rebalance as we increase our net worth.

Your money is not invested right now. Just buy the fund of your choice and when it asks where the money should come from, select your settlement fund.
On the positive note, you didn't loose much staying out of market
