Predictions are like opinions and belly buttons: everybody's got one.

Check your IPS.
Check your AA and rebalance if needed.

Go contemplate your....opinion.

Re: Help With Rolling Over Retirement Trust

I think you are leaning in the right direction. If you go with Vanguard, they will pull your money from where it is into your new account (which they will help you set up) at Vanguard. I did this 10 years ago when I retired and they did all the work. My transfer did not involve a retirement trust, h...

The only cash I hold is in Vanguard Prime Money Market.
I retired almost 10 years ago and up until now I have not held any cash at all. We've recently decided to pay for our grandson's college education, so I'm moving money there for safety.

PS - Nice to see you back on the radar, Rick.

At the time, it seemed to me that it was about the size of a washing machine. Probably weighed about as much, too.

I wouldn't consider the 190K a "loss". If you do, then fine.
But you'd also have to then realize that after 2 years of saving the 96K annual premium, you'd be about "even"...and getting further "ahead" every year that you don't pay that premium.

He may have meant that the proposed allocations would have returned 5.35% over some specified period in the past. Read the wiki, read some...
