Any update on the resolution of this matter? I just received an IRS 12c letter for tax year 2017 that sounds very similar to yours and I'm hoping you would share how you ultimately resolved it? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2008 Sea Ray that I bought used and it's been very easy and low cost to maintain. We do a lot of skiing and tubing with it and it's been great. I haven't owned any other brands of boats, so I can't really compare it to other options for you.
