Angelscrest, you ought to try and connect with other EV drivers in your area, if any, and get some info from folks with actual experience in your region. You might try to get a connection via the folks at pluginamerica. (By the way, this is the group that was the pro-EV star of Who Killed The Electr...

Is this website only about new EVs? I know a great deal about new EVs, but am really trying to understand battery life in a 4-6 y-o EV, and whether or not the reduction in mileage consistently falls off, or if it ramps down. I.e., if after 5 years there's a 50% reduction on say a Nissan Leaf, does ...

Maybe I have been operating with a misunderstanding, but my recollection from postings long ago is that duration only measures the effect of a single interest rate increase, and that the effect of multiple increases is that the break-even point asymptotically approaches "2 x duration". Am i correct?

Are there any tax consequences with trying to gift $250K? I thought there were tax-free limits on gifts? Anything over $15,000 per recipient is applied to a lifetime exclusion (currently $11.4 million) so no gift tax issue as far as I can see. (see https://www.fool.com/taxes/2019/01/05/gift-tax-in-...
