Most 401k plans still don't allow after tax contributions after the pre-tax cap is hit. I just changed employers and was hoping my new 401k had this feature but it does not.

I don't understand the concern here all banks ask for a SSN for tax reasons. I believe there are other identification numbers you can provide if you aren't a US citizen so I wouldn't worry about it.

FYI CloudFlare recently announced (Apr 1) a new globally available free DNS service at 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. They'll be fine. Pension systems are insured by the government and will get bailed out if something were to happen.

Move to a less expensive area, that property tax is insane. For a similar cost home in my area you'd pay $2500 in tax. This is in a major metropolitan area as well.

Additionally you didn't take into account your lower marginal rates. Add these in and the house didn't become 20% more expensive.
