I recommend a German Import, Clausthaler Dry Hopped, 0.5% alcohol, 75 calories, brewed according to Reinheitsgebot - water, yeast, barley malt, hops and nothing else

Re: Why does State Farm have poor reviews?

I am a former State Farm auto insurance customer; had to drop them after they raised premium by 50%. No concerns about customer service though as they were always prompt and dependable.

I am a bit surprised that no one seems concerned about exposure to K-cup plastic. I love my ceramic coffee dripper :P

Sears appliances from Amazon

Sears to sell Kenmore appliances on Amazon. In my experience, there is a decline in quality of this brand and it is no longer a good value for money. The new deal would not make me buy Kenmore. Any one persuaded to buy Kenmore appliance due to the Amazon connection?

Inspiring!! I hope that you are also documenting this journey audiovisually. It would make for an enjoyable YouTube upload when you decide that the time is right.

Re: Are you finding any good values at Amazon anymore?

Amazon Prime membership has become a prerequisite to get any good value. “Our goal with Amazon Prime, make no mistake, is to make sure that if you are not a Prime member, you are being irresponsible," Jeff Bezos. Still, I am having hard time taking on this responsibility :confused

All of your options are good. So, have you asked what your wife' preferences are? My guess is that her choice would be the best for both of you :D

I switched from US Bank to Chase, got the bonus offers (checking + saving), have had good experience with personal bankers and their credit card offers are an additional perk. No issues after a year!

Thanks for sharing. I am assuming your accident claim experience was also satisfactory.

Another 'thumbs-up' for Chase. Just did $600 bonus (new checking with direct deposit + 15 K saving 90 days). The entire process went well.

State Farm to Geico

Please help me decide if it makes sense to switch from State Farm to Geico. Bay area, 56M, 2017 Volt, no citations in last three years. State Farm quoted me $800 for six months while Geico will do a similar coverage for $420. I'm long-term State Farm Customer.

The most recent model you can afford. Many innovative safety technologies, which were only seen in luxury models, are now available even in entry-level cars. They allow you to avoid accidents and to survive the ones you can't avoid. Please value your life and limbs over your net worth.

I have a personal Iphone 5 and company Iphone 4 and bulging pockets. Any creative solutions folks have come up with to carry these devices throughout the day without a man purse? Thanks in advance.

Need help-bought too much car

Please advise how I can salvage MY situation. I recently spent 44 K on a new car. I can pay it off in three years, but I have serious remorse on my profligacy. How can I get out of this loan without loosing substantial amounts to depreciation and 3.5 K on sales tax. Thanks.
