Re: Help on Asset Allocation

I appreciate the responses from everyone. It looks like the AA should be fine I was concerned with having all stocks in my taxable account but everyone has put my mind at ease. I was also worried about having no growth in the non taxable accounts but from what has been posted that will change when r...

Re: Help on Asset Allocation

We just transferred our investments to Vanguard last March. The previous advisor had some small individual bonds in the taxable account that we have been using for withdrawals as they mature. One is coming due April 1 of this year another January 4,2018 so we will not have to sell any stocks until 2...

Re: Help on Asset Allocation

I was planning on leaving the Roth and ira accounts alone and spending down the taxable account. This is what has me concerned about the taxable account being so heavy in equities. Also the tax advantaged accounts will have very little growth being 100 percent bonds. I realize there will be an incre...

Re: Moving American Funds

I was looking at the expenses and trying to stream line my portfolio. I really appreciate this forum and the knowledgeable people on it. Thanks agai...

Re: Installing AC: Rheem vs. Trane (or other) system

I was in the Ac business for about 40 years. Installed a lot of Rheem's in residential application's and good luck with them. Rheem's should be cheaper than Trane. As they stated above installation has a lot to do with it iand it is true that a lot of the components are made in the same factory.

Re: Europe Trip in August

Thanks for the replies. I agree with everyone when it is your time to go it really doesn't matter where you are. Could be driving down the road at home and someone crosses the line. Told wife to quit reading about everything going on and go buy some new clothes.

Also would like to draw approximately 20,000 per year and not run out money. I know I want to draw down the taxable account first so would it sustain ...
