Wellesley has an annualized return of 9.92% since inception 45 years agoI how can this fund produce such solid returns while holding only 59 stocks.? it is not very diversified yet produces stellar returns.

hi krow 36, no. wade did refer me to his article, you can find the article by opening up the archives on left side then select article, then 2012 and finally jan.17. third article is the one on va. by joe Tomlinson. I wish I were more tech savvy.

hi mel and others. an update. my metlife myga is offering a 3 year fixed rate of 3.25% which equals about 7k a year. this is an interest only monthly payment that equals$583.20 now I have a55% exclusion ratio, but do I lose it if I get interest only income? if I choose a spia with installment my bes...

does vanguard own the lowest cost variable annuity out there.? 70% of annuities purchased are variable annuities! only 1 to 3 % ever annuitize them. just some food for thought

The annuity started first at tiaa-cref then I did a 1035 to vanguard into a variable annuity. then I did a 1035 to metlife in nov.2008. the value then was 140k and cost basis of 119k. it is currently valued at 209k. it will be worth 215k on nov. 20,2007. I have an exlusion rate of about 55%
