Thanks for all the replies. I'll get more specific info from daughter on the funds available and expenses and report back later in weekend. I do know that the TIAA admin fees alone were 0.32%.

Thanks for the follow up replies. And to answer your question, I checked our tax returns and yes our accountant has been filing the 8606 forms annually so we should be good, and we'll combine those IRAs.

Duckie - Thank you for your reply. I like the approach in simplifying accounts. You definitely gave me a couple responses I was not expecting or thinking about.
