I have a forced hot water heating system (hydronic) which is a closed-loop system. I did ask a similar question to my HVAC contractor a few years ago and he told me the system does not consume water, which means there is no evaporation. My system is ~20 years old. The Kindle Paperwhite arrived yesterday so I've been fiddl'n with it most of the day......lot's of features..really like it.
