Does not the 55 Rule apply here..........at least until he/she turns 55? If so, that means an additional 10% penalty for the first couple of years. Not that it's a bit deal but if it applies, you need to plan that into your tax rate.

About 2 years ago, I replaced the rotors and brakes (both axles) on my 2005 Honda Pilot on a Saturday. I had a friend help. It took me about 4 hours to do it. Some of the old rotors wouldn't come off, I had to replace a caliper pin and had to go a couple Auto zones to find the right one. You know.....

This comes up frequently, but at 4.85% I'd pay off the mortgage. Gill +1 Take a look at your mortgage statement. More than 50% of the interest on any mortgage loan is collected within the first 7 -10 years; it's front loaded. If you have the cash.....dash to the bank and make that loan past tense
