Re: Car Vandalism During Cross-Country Drive

Your responses have helped me confirm that I will likely travel lighter than planned (shipping more stuff that I’d initially expected to transport in my car). My valuables, important papers, computer, couple of suitcases will be removed from the car nightly. OP, without rehashing some of the great ...

Besides being almost bald, I would also worry about cracking/dryrot weakening the sidewalls.

If you've got the time for a treasure hunt you could browse local Goodwill stores. Inconsistent sizing but lot of variety. Getting stuff from Goodwill can help to avoid comments from co-workers such as "New shirt?". Ehh, thanks but I have to draw the line somewhere, I don't wear other peo...

I'm not a huge dress shirt guy, but I have had luck browsing Kohl's sales(already mentioned), Eddie Bauer online sales, Eddie Bauer outlets(Brick & Mortar in outlet malls), and LL Bean's sales. Average price I pay is approximately $25.

Since 2013 I have not kept physical copies of anything. I either download PDFs and save them to Dropbox, or in the rare instance I get a physical document I scan it and save it to Dropbox, and then throw away the original. I've been intending to do this, but it's a huge volume to deal with. I'd est...

Very happy with this card so far. Rewards are posting for me about a day after each transaction posts. I used to use the Citi Costco Visa card for 3% travel and restaurants, but I think it's worth it to give up the half-percent back to get rewards in your checking account 2-3 days later vs. next Fe...

Last year I bought a lot of small items on Amazon - about 150 orders for $3,000. There were 60 orders where no Michigan tax was withheld. I calculated that I owed about $90. Hi, I'm assuming you mean why vs "who". Just remember that Amazon has other retailers who sell through the Amazon p...
