Re: Bond ETFs that accumulate earnings vs. distributing

Re: [European investor] CSPX or IWDA?

In last 40years US small cap value has outpreform sp500, so why you do not invest all money in US small cap value? We do not know what will be in next 40 years, but IWDA cover develope markets(europe, japan, australia, north america), while sp500cover only USA. In next 40years we will see which choice...

Re: Help to build a three fund portfolio with non-US ETF

IShares has recently launched the accumulating version of SUAG. This is good news for those of us non us-tax treaty NRAs who need to use accumulating Bond ETFs for tax purposes.

Re: [Europe] Accumulating vs Distributing ETFs

Read it and now it´s clear. In my case is better invest in Ireland cause Brazil doesn't has a treat with US and I have to pay 27,5% in my country on dividends. And on CGT I only pay if I sell more than 35k of my currency per month (about 10k €). I´m thinking in buy IWDA and maybe some emerging and ...

Re: Non-Resident Alien investor (Brazil) – Portfolio Advice Needed

Thank you for the explanation TedSwippet. I understand now (*) Although if you do have to buy/sell with something other than the BRL you will want to get the best forex rate into whatever currency you're going to trade in, and that might drive your choice of trading currency. I would guess at USD gi...

Re: Non-Resident Alien investor (Brazil) – Portfolio Advice Needed

Thanks for replying Galeno. Being a resident in a country with no TAX treaty with US/Ireland and that levies taxes on foreign income at progressive rates, I don't think income distributing ETFs are a good option for me. Also owning such ETFs would require me to file taxes in advance year round, whic...
